Detecting water distribution and reservoirs losses
The DROPSAVE (Detecting wateR distributiOn and reservoirs losses Per remote Sensing AdVanced tEchniques) project aims at developing a service to monitor and locate water leaks from water reservoirs, water transport open canals and large diameter water pipes, buried up to 2 meters underground using high resolution SAR and thermal satellite data.
The DROPSAVE project was funded by the Eurostars initiative (Project E! 7724).
