RESCAT

Resilience and Environmental Satellite monitoring for Climate Action and Transformation.

RESCAT will provide an integrated, flexible, and ready-to-deploy tool to enhance the ability of stakeholders and society to contribute to climate resilience. Using the Ebro Delta as a scalable case, this tool will measure the impact of already implemented actions in the area, helping to prioritise future interventions.

This platform will integrate relevant parameters such as Coastal Erosion, River Discharge, Soil Moisture/Drought Index, Sea Surface Height, Biodiversity Indices, Land Use/Land Cover, Sea Surface Temperature, Subsidence, and Sedimentation.

By improving access to critical information, RESCAT will simplifiy decision-making for a wide range of stakeholders—from local and regional governments to landowners and private companies. Ultimately, helping reduce and prevent economic losses caused by environmental degradation, while protecting the livelihoods of communities that depend on the Ebro Delta.
